a) The reaction of an acid (x) with a base to give a salt and water.
b) When we put magnesium pieces in solution releases hydrogen gas.
c) When zinc pieces are put in solution 'y' there will takes place a chemical reaction.
d) Acids produce more `H^+` ions in the given solutions, 'x' produces more `H^+` ions because it is an acid
