Which physical quantity is the same for X-rays of wavelength `10^(-10)` m, red light of wavelength 6800 Å and radio waves of wavelength 500 m?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The speed of electromagnetic waves in vacuum is fixed and is equal to `3xx10^8 m.s^(-1)` . Since all the three waves (viz. X - ray, red light and radio waves) are electromagnetic in nature, their speed in vacuum remains same.
