A parallel plate capacitor is connected to a battery and it is in steady state. Connecting wires are considered as perfect conductors. If the plates of capacitor are moved apart by some distance and then after sometime these are brought back to the same separation. Is there any heat dissipated in the circuit in above operation? Explain why?
