A truck can move up a road having a grade of 1.0 m rise for every 50 m with a speed of 18(km)//(h) . The resisting force is equal to (1)//(25) of the weight of the truck. With what speed the same truck moves down the hill with the same power?

A truck of mass 30,000 kg moves up an inclined plane of slope 1 in 100 at a speed of 30 kmph . The power of the truck is (g=10ms^(-1))

A car can pull a trailer of twice its mass up a certain slope at a maximum speed v=1m//s . Without the trailer the maximum speed of the car up the same slope is 2v . The resistance to the motion is proportinal to mass and square of speed. If the car (without trailer) starts to move down the same slope, with its engine shut off, eventually it will acquire a constant speed v_(t) , then find v_(t)^(2) (in m^(2)//s^(2) )

A car can pull a trailer of twice its mass up a certain slope at a maximum speed V. Without the trailer the maximum speed of the car, up the same slope is 2 V. The resistance to the motion is proportional to mass and square of speed. If the car (without trailer) starts to move down the same slope, with its engine shut off, prove that eventually it will acquire a constant speed. Find this speed.

The apparent frequency of a note is 200 Hz when a listener is moving with a velocity of 40 ms^(-1) towards a stationary source. When he moves away from the same source with the same speed, the apparent frequency of the same note is 160 Hz. The velocity of sound in air (in m/s) is :-
