A two slit Young's interference is done ...

A two slit Young's interference is done with monochromatic light of wavelength 6000Å. The slites ar e2mm apart and fringes are observed on a screen placed 10cm away fromm the slits and it is found that the interference pattern shifts by 5mm, when a transparent plate of thickness 0.5mm is introduced in the path of one of slits. What is the refractive index of the transparent plate?

A two slit Young's interference experiment it done with monochromatic light of wavelength 6000 A . The slits are 2 mm apart. The fringes are observed on a screen placed 10 cm away from the slits. Now a transparent plate of thickness 0.5 mm is placed in front of one of the slits and it if found that the interference pattern shifts by 5 mm . The refractive index of the transparent plate is :

A double slit experiment is done with monochromatic light of wavelength 6000 Å . Slits are 2 mm apart and fringes are observed on a screen placed 10 cm away from the slits. If a transparent plate of thickness 0.5 mm is placed in front of one of the slit, interference pattern shifts by 5 mm. Then refractive index of transparent plate should be :

A Lloyd's mirror or length 5 cm is illuminated with mon ochromatic light of wavelength lambda (= 6000 Å) from a narrow 1 mm slit in its plane and 5 cm plane from its near edge. Find the fringe width on a screen 120 cm from the slit and width of interference pattern on the screen.

Young's interference experiment is performed with monochromatic light. The separation between the slits is 0.500 mm, and the interference pattern on a screen 3.30 m away shows the first side maximum 3.40 mm form the center of the pattern. What is the wavelength ?

Interference fringes were produced by Young's double slit method, the wavelength of light used being 6000Å. The separation between the two slits is 2 mm.The distance between the slits and screen is 10 cm. When a transparent plate of thickness 0.5 mm is placed over one of the slits. the fringe pattern is displaced by 5 min. Find the refractive index of the material of the plate.

In Young's experiment, monochromatic light is used to illuminate the two slits A and B. Interference fringes are observed on a screen placed in front of the slits. Now if a thin glass plate is placed normally in the path of the beam coming from the slit
