a) When plate starts to rotate about point A, then
`rho = mg1/2` `(therefore mgl/2)`
or `lalpha=mgl/2`
Here, l =0.2 m, b=0.15m
`therefore` `d^(2)= l^(2)/4 + b^(2)/4 = ((0.2)^(2))4 + (0.15)^(2)/4 = 0.0625/4`
`therefore` the moment of inertia about vertical axis passing through point A is
`I = I_(c) + md^(2) = m/12(l^(2)+b^(2))+ md^(2)`
`=20/12{(0.2)^(2)+(0.15)^(2)}+20 xx (0.0625)/4`
On putting the values, `alpha=48rad/s^(2)`
