In a figure given alongside assuming the diodes to be ideal

A

`D_(1)` is forward biased and `D_(2)` is reverse biased and hence, current flows from A to B

B

`D_(2)` is forward biased and `D_(1)` is reverse biased and hence, no current flows from B to A and vice-versa

C

`D_(1)` and `D_(2)` are both forward biased and hence current flows from A to B

D

`D_(1)` and `D_(2)` are both reverse biased and hence no current flows from A to B and vice-versa

The correct Answer is:
B

If `V_(p) - V_(n) gt0`, then diode is in forward biased. In case of `D_(1),V_(p)-V_(n)) = -10 -0=-10 lt0`, so `D_(1)` is in reverse biased and for `D_(2)`, `V_(p)-V_(n)=0-(-10)=10gt0`, So `D_(2)` is in forward biased.
