Normal human body of the temperature ...

Normal human body of the temperature is `98.6^(@)F`. During high fever if the temperature increases to `104^(@)F ` what is the change in peak wavelength that emitted by our body ?
(Assume human body is a black body)

( a) `T = 98.6^(@)F`
convert `.^(@)F ` to `C^(@)`
C = (F - 32) + 1.8
`=66. 6 -: 1.8 = 37^(@)C`
convert centigrade into kelvin
`37^(@)C 273 = 310 K`
`lambda _(m ) = (a)/(T ) ` a- wien displacement constant
`lambda_(m) to` maximum wavelength emitted by a body at temperature 98.2F
`lambda _(m ) = (2.898 xx 10^(-3))/(310)`
`= 9348 xx 10^(-9)` m (or ) 9348 nm
At temperature `104^(@)F` converting into `.^(@)C`
`C= (104 - 32) :- 1.8 = 72 :- 1.8 = 40^(@)C`
Converting into kelvin
40 + 273 = 313 K
`lambda = (2. 898 xx 10^(-3))/(313)`
`= 9259 xx 10^(-9) m` or 9259 nm
Change in peak wave length `= lambda _(m ) - lambda `
=9348 - 9259 = 89 nm
