A girl is swinging on a swing in the sitting position. How will the period of swing be affected if she stands up?

The girl and the swing together constitute a pendulum of the period,
`T=2pisqrt((l)/(g))`
As the girl stand up, her E.G is raised the distance between the point of suspension and the C.G decrease i.e. length l decrease . Hence the time period T decrease.
