Focal length of lens in water ` f_w = (n_g - 1)/((n_g)/(n_w) - 1) f_a`
As `n_s gt n_w , (n_g)/(n_w) gt 1, so f_w gt f_a`
That is focal length of lens in water will increase, but the nature of lens will remain unchanged.
