100 W bulb draws 680 mA current. How much time will be required to pass 30 C of charge through the bulb ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given:
Charge passing through bulb, Q = 30C
Current drawn by 100 W bulb,
`I = 680 mA = 680 xx 10^(-3) A`
To find: time taken to pass through the bulb t=? ` t = (Q)/(I)`
`I = (Q)/(t) = (30)/(680xx10^(-3))`
= 44.117 seconds
Time required , t = 44.1 seconds
