(a) the nature of motion of a particle can be determined.
(b) velocity and hence distance of a particle can be predicted well in advance for a uniform acceleration.
(c) the area bounded by the v - t curve below it and on the time axis can be determined. This determines the distance travelled by the particle.
(d) instantaneous velocity of a particle, distance covered during the nth second and acceleration in terms of distance covered during consecutive equal intervals of time can be calculated?
