A block slides down a rough inclined plane of inclination `45^(@)`. If the coefficent of kinetic friction is `0.5`, find the acceleration of the sliding block . `(g=10ms^(-2))`.

`mu_(k)=0.5`, `theta=45^(@)`
For an accelerated motion,
`ma=mg sin 45-muR`
i.e. `ma=mg sin 45-mu mg cos45`
i.e. `a=(10)/(sqrt(2))-(1)/(2)xx10xx(1)/(sqrt(2))`
`a=(1)/(2)xx(10)/(sqrt(2))=5xx0.707=3.535ms^(-2)`
