If the ratio of partial pressures of two gases is 3 : 2 and atomic mass of monoatiomic gaw is 20.2 unit and molecular mass of diatomic gas is 32.0 unit, then compare their mass densities.

By definition density `P = (m)/(V).`
Hence `(p_(1))/(p_(2))=(m_(1))/(m_(2))` volume being same (given),
but number of moles `mu = (m)/(M)` where,
M is the molar mass.
Therefore `m = muM`.
`i.e.(p_(1))/(p_(2))`=(mu_(1)M_(1))/(mu_(2)M_(2))` " " therefore(mu_(1))/(mu_(2))=(p_(1))/(p_(2))=(3)/(2)`
`(p_(1))/(p_(2))=(3)/(2)xx(20.2)/(32)=0.95.`
