Integrated circuits are used in all the memory circuits, microprocessors, etc.
ICs are classified into linear and non-linear ICs. Operational amplifiers are linear ICs in which the output voltage varies linearly with the input.
Non - linear ICs are used in digital circuits such as logic gates. these are further classified into small scale, medium scale, large scale and very large scale integration circuits. integrated circuits comprise of logic gates `le 10 ` to `gt`1000.
