(i) Generation fo Electrophile
`HNO_(3)+H_(2)SO_(4)toNO_(2)^(+)+HSO_(4)^(-)+H_(2)O`
(ii) The Electrophile `NO_(2)^(+)` attracks
The Benzene ring to form carbocation which is resonance stabilized.

(ii) Loss of proton to given nitro benzene. The proton is removed by `HSO_(4)^(-)`
