Explanation

(i) To obtain the graph of `y=2 sin 2 x` we first draw the graph of `y=sin x` in the interval `[0,2 x]` and then divide the `x`-coordinates of the points where it crosses `x`-axis by 2 . The maximum and minimum values are 2 and `-2` respectively.


(ii)To obtain the graph of `y=3 \sin x` we first draw the graph of `y=\sin x` in the interval `[0,2 \pi]`. The maximum and minimum values are 3 and `-3` respectively.
