When a body of mass 1.0 kg is suspended from a ceryain light spring hanging vertically, its length increase by 5 cm by suspending 2.0 kg block to the spring and if the block is pulled throughn 10cm and released, the maximum velocity in it in `ms^-1` (Accesleration due to gravity = `ms^-1`.

Force constant,`k=(mg)/x=(1xx10)/(5xx10)^ (-2)=200Nm^-1`
From Law of conversation of energy,
`1/2 kx_1^2=1/2m_1V^2(x_1=10cm,m_1=2 kg)`
`V^2=(kx_1^(2))/(m)`
`=(200xx(10^-1)^(2))/2`
`therefore V=1 m//s`
