At a fixed temperature & pressure, heat released in the formation of 3 mol `SO_(3)(g)` from `SO_(2)(g)` and `O_(2)(g)` is 291 kJ. What will be the change in enthalpies in the formation of 1 mol & 4 mol `SO_(3)(g)`?

The thermocheical equation for the formation of 3 mol of `SO_(3)(g)` from the reaction between `SO_(2)(g)` and `O_(2)(g)` is
given as: `3SO_(2)(g)+(3)/(2)O_(2)(g) to 3SO_(3)(g),DeltaH=-291kJ`
the thermochemical equation for the formation of 1 mol of `SO_(3)(g)` is: `SO_(2)(g)+(1)/(2)O_(2)(g)toSO_(3)(g),DeltaH=(1)/(3)(-291)kJ=-97kJ`
Therefore, the change in enthalpy for the formation of 1 mol and 4 mol `SO_(3)(g)` will be -97 kJ and `4xx(-97)=-388kJ`, respectively.
