If the process `AtoB` occurs reversible, then the change in entropy of the system be, `DeltaS_(1)`. When the same process occurs irreversible, the change in entropy of the system be `DeltaS_(2)`. Will the value of `DeltaS_(1)` be greater than, less than or equal to the value of `DeltaS_(2)`?

Since the entropy is a state function, the change in entropy of a system in a process does not depend upon whether the process is carried out reversible or irreversibly.
