The reaction(i) is endothemric as `DeltaG gt0`.
(a) As the reaction is endothermic, the value of its equilibrium constant will increase with the rise in temperature.
(b) and (c) According to Le Chatelier's principle, rise in temperature at the equilibrium of an endothermic reaction shifts the equilibrium to the right. As a result, the yields of the products increase.
The reaction (ii) is exothermic as `Delta H lt0`.
(a) As the reaction is exothermic, the value of its equilibrium constant will decrease with the rise in temperature. (b) and (c) according to Le Chatelier's principle, increasing temperature at the equilibrium of an exothermic reaction shifts the equilibrium to the left. consequently, the yield of the products decrease.
