Write the names of isotopes of hydrogen. What is the mass ratio of these isotopes ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

In nature, there are three isotopes of hydrogen. These are protium `(""_(1)^(1)H)`, deuterium [`""_(1)^(2)H` or D] and tritium `[""_(1)^(3)H or T]`.
The mass ratio of `""_(1)^(1)H, ""_(1)^(2)H and ""_(1)^(3)H` is 1 : 2 : 3.
