Why does dihydrogen occur in diatomic form than in monoatomic form under normal condition.?

Hydrogen atom has only one electron and thus, it has one electron less than the stable configuration of the nearest noble gas helium. Thus, to achieve stable configuration it shares its single electron with the electron of other H-atom to form a stable diatomic molecule `(H_(2))`
