Non-biodegradable pollutants:- The pollutants which are not decomposed by bacteria or germs or decomposed very slowly are known as non-biodegradable pollutants.
Example:- Mercury,DDT Gammaxene etc. Presence of these substance even in a trace amounts is injurious to human beings and other animals.
