Vapour density of a gas is 11.2 . What is the volume of 10 g of that gas at STP ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Molecular mass of the gas = `11.2 xx 2 = 2.4`
At STP , volume of 22.4 g of the gas = 22.4 L
`therefore ` At STP , volume of 10 g of the gas `= (22.4)/(22.4) xx 10 = 10 L`
