Quantity of electricity `=0.5xx(60xx60)=1800C`.
1800C of electricity deposite 0.59 g of the metal at the cathode.
So, 96500 C (= F) will deposit `(0.59)/(1800)xx96500=31.63g` of the metal. As 1 F of electricity results in liberation of 1g - equiv of a substance at an electrode, the gram - equivalent mass of the metal will be 31.63.
