1 g - eq of anu univalent ion contains N (Avogadro number ) number of ions , and 1 g - eq of a substance is produced at an electrode when 1 F of electricity is passed through an electrolyte .
So , 1 F (96500 C) of electricity is carried by 1 g - eq of univalent ions or N number of univalent ions ( the smallest charged particle ) ,
Hence , 1 F of electricity can be called as 1 mol (N) of electricity .
