A reaction is first order in A and second order in B.
How is the rate affected on increasing the concentration of B three times ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Rate `=kab^(2)`
If [B] is tripled , Rate = `ka(3b)^(2)=9kab^(2)`,i.e .the rate increases by 9 times its original rate .
