Fluorine cannot serve as the central atom in polyatomic interhalogen compounds-why?

(i) Due to the absence of d - orbital, fluorine cannot expand its volency. (ii) The size of F - atom is very small, so it cannot accommodate other halogen atoms around it. (iii) As F is the most electronegative elements , ti cannot show +ve oxidation number . Due to these reason, fluorine cannot serve as central atom is polyatomic interhalogen compound.
