`IF_(7)` exists but `ICI_(7)` does not - why ?

Explanation

In `IF_(7)`,the oxidation state of I is + 7 . Being the strongest oxidising agent , fluorine can enhance the oxidation state of I upto + 7. On the other hand, the oxidising power of CI is not too high and it cannot enhance the oxidations state of I upto + 7. Also , the size of the F - atoms are small and hence, an - I atom can accommodate seven F -atom. But , an I - atom cannot accomodate seven CI - atom as teh size of CI - atoms is larger than F - atom . Due to these tow reason , `IF_(7)` exists but `ICI_(7)` does not .
