Why does `NH_(3)` form H-bond but `PH_(3)` does not?

The electronegativity of N (3.0) is much higher than that of H (2.1). Therefore, N - H bond is quite polar, causing intermolecular H-bonding in `NH_(3)` as shown below.

On the other hand, the electronegativities of both P and H are equal (2.1). Therefore P - H bond is not polar. Hence, `PH_(3)` does not undergo H-bonding.
