What are the different oxidation states exhibited by the lanthanoids ?

The most common oxidation state of lanthanoids is + 3, However, some lanthanoids also exhibit oxidation states of + 2 and + 4. For example, Eu shows an oxidation state of + 2 and Ce shows an oxidation state of + 4.
