Lawrencium, Lr (Z = 103) is the last element in the series of actinoids, having electronic configuration as : `[Rn]5f^(14)6d^(1)7s^(2)`. The possible oxidation state of Lr is + 3, which is attained by the loss of 6d and 7s - electrons, thereby gaining the stable electronic configuration of `[Rn]5f^(14)`.
