A group-14 element is to be converted into n-type semiconductor by doping it with a suitalbe impurity. To which group this impurity belong?

n-type semiconductors are conducting due to presence of excess of negatively charged electrons. In order to convert group 14 elements (e.g. Si, Ge) into n-type semi-conductors, doping is done with some elements of group 15 (e.g. P, As)
