(b) It is correct order. The oxygen atom has-I effect and its presence (electron withdrawing nature) tends to increase the acidic strength. In compound (II), oxygen atom is coloser to the carboxyl group than in structure (III). Therefore, compound (II) is more acidic than (III) which is more acidic than (I) in which no oxygen atom is present.
