What must be subtracted from x^3-6x^2-15...

What must be subtracted from `x^3-6x^2-15 x+80` so that the result is exactly divisible by `x^2+x-12 ?`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When we divide `(x^3-6x^2-15x+80)/(x^2+x-12)` ,we will get the remainder `3x^2+128`
Therefore `3x^2+128` will be subtracted from it to make it divisible by `x^2+x-12`
