Find magnitude of force exerted by string on pulley

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`T=10g=100N`
F.B.D. of pulley

Since string is massles, so tension in both sides of string is same. Force exerted by string
`=sqrt((100)^(2)+(100)^(2))=100sqrt(2)N`
