How do non-green plants such as fungi and bacteria obtain their nourishment?

1) Fungi and bacteria obtain their food by heterotrophic nutrition.
2) Some of them are saprophytes and get their food by decomposing the organic mat- ter . Ex : Yeast , Rhizopus.
3) Some of them are parasites and invade host cells and absorb necessary nutrients from them . Ex : Salmonella typhi, T.B. Bacteria.
