some of this oxygen for respiration and the rest diffuses into air
(3) During day time `CO_2` produced by respiration is all used up in photosynthesis by leaves but rate of respiration is slow.
(4)At night time no photosynthesis occurs and oxygen diffuses into leaves to carryout respiration and during night dark reaction takes place `O_2` releases. But rate of photosynthesis is slow during night.
