On heating lead (II) nitrate gives a brown gas " A". The gas " A" on cooling changes to colourless solid "B" . Solid B on heating with NO changes to a blue solid 'C . Identify ' A', 'B' and' C and also write reactions involved and draw the structures of 'B' and 'C' .

Upon heating, lead (II) nitrate produces a reddish brown gas `NO_(2)` (A) which changes to colourless solid (B) that is a dimer of `NO_(2)(g)`
`2Pb(NO_(3))_(2)(s) overset(673 K) to 2 PbO(s) + underset(("Reddish brown")) underset("Nitrogen dioxide "(A))(4NO_(2)(g)+O_(2)(g))`
` 2NO_(2)(g) overset("cooling") to underset(("Colourless"))underset("Dinitrogentetroxide " (B))(N_(2)O_(4)(s))`
Upon heating with nitric oxide (NO), the solid `N_(2)O_(4)` forms another solid `N_(2)O_(3)` which is blue in colour.
`2NO(g)+N_(2)O_(4)(s) overset("heat") to underset(("Blue"))("Dinitrogentrioxide"(C )) (2N_(2)O_(3)(s))`
