Explain the flow of blood and heart attc...

Explain the flow of blood and heart attck by using the principle of Bernoulli's theorem.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When the heart pumps the blood, the blood enters the blood veins and arteries of different sizes. The pressures exerted by blood on the walls of veins and arteries depend on the diameter.
ln a larger diameter, the blood flows slower and in smaller diameter of veins and arteries faster. Any block due to development of plaque on the interior of the walls of veins and arteries, alters the pressure and velocity of the blood leading into the heart. This causes heart attack.
