How many multiples of 4 lie between 10 and 250?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Multiple of 4 lie between `10` and `250` are, `12,16,20,24...248`
So, it is an `AP` with starting term, `a=12` and difference, `d=4`
If ` n` is the total number of terms, then,
`a+(n-1)d = 248`
`12+4(n-1) = 248`
`4(n-1) = 236`
`n-1 = 59=>n=60`
