Explain various types of friction suggest a few methods to reduce friction

There are two kinds of friction namely
(i) Static friction and (ii) Kinetic friction
(i) Static friction is the force , that object the initiation of motion of an object on the surface .
(ii) Kinetic friction : If teh external force acting on the object is greater than being to slide . When an object slides the surface exerts a friction force called kinetic friction `f_(k)`
Methods of Reducing friction are :
Lubrication
Ball bearings
Avoiding mositures
Proper selection of material
Polishing the surface
