The image of point `A`, in the mirror is at `A'(6,0)` join t `A'M` and extend to out `Y` axis `M` (Ray origaning form `A` which strikes the mirror at `M` gets reflect as the ray `MM'` which appears to come form `A'`) Join `A'N` and externed to cut `Y` axis at `N'` (Ray originating form `A` which strikes the mirror `N` gets reflected as the rays `N N'` which apperars to come form `A'`)
From geometry.
`M' = (0,6)`
`N' = (0,9). M' N'` is the region on `Y` axis in which reflected rays are persent.

Interference effects are produced at point P on a screen as a result of direct rays from a 500 nm source and reflected rays from a mirror, as shown in figure. If the sources is 100m to the left of the screen and 1.00 cm above the mirror, find the distance y (in milimeters) to the first dark band above the mirror.

A light ray is incident on a plane mirror, which after getting reflected strikers another plane mirror, as shwon in figure. The angle between the two mirrors is 60^(@) . Find the angle 'theta' shown in figure.

Figure shows a plane mirror onto which a light rays is incident. If the incident light ray is rotated by 10^(@) and the mirror by 20^(@) , as show in figure below, find the angle by which the reflected ray is rotated.

A horizontal ray of light passes through a prism whose apex angle is 4^@ and then strikes a vertical mirror M as shown in Figure. For the ray to become horizontal after reflection, Find the angle by which the mirror must be rotated.
