What is the ratio of velocities of two light waves travelling in vacuum and having wavelength `4000Å and 8000Å` ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

In vacuum, light of all the wavelengths travel with the same velocity `i.e.3xx10^(8)ms^(-1)` therefore, the ratio of the velocities of the two light waves is `1`.
