Fresh milk has a pH of 6. How do you think the pH will change as it turns into curd? Explain your answer.

When milk change inot cure, the pH decreases. Lactose (carbohydrate) present in milk gets converted inot lactic acid. As more of acid is formed, pH of the medium decreases.
