Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i) Dry HCl gas will not change the colour of blue litmus paper. (ii) Moistened `NH_(3)` (i.e. `NH_(4)OH)` will not change the colour of blue litmus. (iii) Colour will change to red (iv) Colour will change to red because in carbonated soft drinks `CO_(2)` gas dissolves to from carbonic acid `(H_(2)CO_(3)).` (v) It will change to red since curd contains lactic acid. (v) It will remain blue in soap solution.
