Let angle formed by an arc of 22 cm at the center of circle be `theta`.
Radius of circle ( r) =100cm, length of arc(l) = 22cm
From the formula l= `r theta, 22 = 100 xx theta`
`rArr theta=22/100` radian
`therefore D=180^(@)/pi xx 22/100 = ((180^@) xx 22)/(22/7 xx 100)`
`=(180 xx 7 xx 22)/(22 xx 100) = 12.6^(@)`
`=12^(@)+0.6 xx 60^(') = 12^(@)36^(')`
Therefore, angle formed by the given arc at center `=12^(@)36^(')`.
