10 mL of each 1 mL HCl and 1M H(2)SO(4) ...

`10 mL` of each `1 mL HCl` and `1M H_(2)SO_(4)` are neutralized by `1 M NaOH` solution that liberate the heat of `a` & `b kJ//` equivalent respectively. What is relation between `a` and `b`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
`2a=b`

`H_(2)SO_(4)rarr`diprotic acid and `HCl rarr`mono protic acid.
So, `H_(2)SO_(4)` will release double amount of that than `HCl`.
So, `2a=b`
