If 'K' and 'L' shells of an atom are completely filled then what would be (i) the total number of electrons in an atom and (ii) its valency?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

According to Bohr Bury scheme, 'K' and 'L' shells of an atom can have maximum of 2 and 8 electrons
